I'd like to think that Davidson has the same approach as Geurzoni when it comes to photographing city streets, as this image would have a greater impact on viewers. There are plenty of homeless people in the UK but I can't say I have ever seen someone sleeping in the middle of the path during the day, it just goes to show that photographs can expose you to new sights and ways of living.

I really like how Davidson has made this image blurry in the middle to show the movement and still has the people at the front and the buildings in focus, it captures the the business of this city. An effect I have never thought of using, if I ever come back to street photography then this is something I may think of doing myself.

Different to the previous images I have included in my research, this image is similar in some ways to the work I have produced. Davidson has chosen to photograph the majority of the statue to be able to include the landscape as well. If he were to of focused on just the hands of the statue then the image would relate more to my work, I noticed how the placement of the statue's hands make it look like it is offering up the box to God or maybe someone higher than themselves in authority. I'm pleased that I chose to use the hand gesture I did as it shows a caring for the building its holding, if I'd of used a different gesture like the one in this photograph my images would have a different meaning.
