It’s like she can’t believe anyone actually loves her, that those who do, do because she designed the “trap” for them to care for her.

Anti-hero is like her apologizing to everyone and saying “I have all these flaws, you must be exhausted to care for me” even though all her fans choose to care for her with no coercion needed.

I wish she knew how much her fans identify with feeling like burdens. Maybe she wouldn’t feel like so much of a burden herself if she knew how much we love her.

I always interpreted the, “no I didn’t but thanks though” line as Taylor not being interested in what the person is trying to tell her. She doesn’t care because she’s mentally somewhere else, away from all the gossip / drama. Not like, “ooh, thanks for showing me this!”
