Ringing in 2019: New Years Day Call it cliched, but this song holds more meaning to me than any other from this era. Over the last year, this has become mine and my husband’s song. There’s so much depth behind her words, they literally speak to my soul. This song is a reminder, that love, like happiness is a choice. “But I stay, when it’s hard or it’s wrong or you’re making mistakes.” Love is messy, love is hard. But when you love the right person, all those pieces fall perfectly together. There’s going to ups to go with your downs. And you’ve got to “hold onto the memories” when things get tough. Ending 2019: Call it what you Want Success and happiness doesn’t come easy. It’s a choice you have to make every single day. The paths you choose will pave the way for your success or lack there of. This year, I worked on letting go of negativity. I strived to better myself, and am proud to say in this moment: I’m doing better than I ever was.
