Ok, hello, yes, long time no hear, but it’s poll time!
I’m considering (emphasis on that) returning to this blog in some capacity. The threads with people whom I’ve been roleplaying with on my private account would stay over there, but I’d be open to starting new roleplays on this account to see how things go.
So, if you would like to roleplay with me and we either haven’t before or used to before I ran away, like this so I can gauge interest in my returning please?
(also I’m on a general level of freaked out at work now because Questacon, directly opposite my place of employment, is featuring a Spider exhibition over the next few months. Thankfully, they used a picture of a peacock spider on the advert so I can handle that, but I can’t shake the fairly irrational fear that a tarantula or some other equally horrible eight legged monster is going to get out of it’s glass box and traverse the hundred or so meters from Questacon to my office. Legit phobia going on with that. I DO NOT WANT A TARANTULA IN MY OFFICE I WILL LIKELY END UP UNCONSCIOUS DUE TO SEVERE FEAR INDUCED PANIC ATTACK).
Ok, hi, hello, I’ve been gone for a couple of days and trying to do some serious thinking. Basically, after some things that happened last week I’m not sure how good Tumblr, and RP, is for me any more. The fact that something I said inspired someone to send anon hate was both shocking and sickening, not to mention the guarantee that between now and at least June next year avoiding all the comparative shit/Russo worship/general AoU and Whedon negativity is going to be an impossible task.
So I’m trying to decide whether or not to keep this blog active and open as it is now.
Whatever I do decide, there are certain individuals who have been with me for a long time and are invaluable to me whom I’d hope would be willing to carry on to a new, more private blog with me, but for the majority... Well, I basically need some hint as to whether or not anyone gives two shits if I’m around or not. So, yes, if you want to keep interacting with me/Darcy, let me know in some fashion, and maybe I’ll be able to figure out what I’m doing.
Well, I was all excited about the Civil War trailer, but I’ve already seen so much dumb shit on my dash because of it... It’s almost like post-AoU in here again and I can’t handle that. Tumblr got so ugly about it, and if that’s going to happen again with this movie I’m just done.
Time for this one to be heading to bed I think, too tired to think straight any more.
(yay, the stains on the carpet weren’t noticed during the inspection, and all in all I just have to clean the shower and the wall over the stove a bit better).
Uuuuugh, it feels like I’ve got so much cleaning left to do still, but at the same time not that much. I’m just going to list stuff to hopefully make myself feel better and manage it.
Clean up dust pile from sweeping Mop - bathroom, laundry, kitchen Wipe down spots - living room, hallway Clear off couches Clean/vacuum couches Tupperware washing up Kitchen wipe down Bathroom wipe down Clean toilet Clean bathroom mirror Tidy up stuff on top of washing machine Weeds among back pavers (after sun starts going down) Put groceries away (after they are delivered) Tidy up coffee table Tidy up dining table Put away/reorganise DVD’s
Alright, I need to head to bed, big day of housecleaning ahead of me tomorrow.
But at least I finally crawled myself over 30,000 words - only 4 days behind schedule.
