sending an ask again bc i think our post might be getting too long 👩🏻💻 HAKDHWH
omg that's rlly rlly cool !!! pottery n graphic design look like so much fun, i would definitely pursue an art course without question if i could 😭 but like i said i'm considering it ulet so i'm going to try talking to my parents again soon !
omygod i was definitely one of those kids who said they wanted to be doctors ..... but tbh i never said it w much confidence coz as time passed i realized more n more na med courses will probably be too stressful n too long for me :( so now "doctor" is kinda just my last choice nalang, parang safety net 🥲 but actually i think i feel u ren,, i don't go to a sci hs (that must've been v pressuring n difficult tho ;-; ) but i also have a lot of batchmates who seem so sure abt the job they want and the course they applied for (which are mostly stem-related, abm or law) and then im just here like 😟 idek if the course i put sa college apps ko is what i want so sino yung tanga 😀 but hopefully i'll be able to figure things out soon coz im tired trying to think abt what i rlly want for my future HAKDHAHS </3
ur dad is rlly cool for that we stan 😩‼️ and good luck w requirements if you're working on any !!! also i hope u're having a great day/night depending on what time u read this HAKDJ <3
i feel u )): hopefully u get to pursue arts!! and if they ever argue na walang pera ang arts tell them that that argument is stewpid. kase everything around them stems out from arts or smth related to an arts track naman. the clothes they’re wearing, the house they’re living in. honestly napaka ignorant ng mga tao na mag look down ng mga art majors. ang baba ng tingin nila just bc its not academically focused. Like may creative industries prof ako ngayon at ang first topic na diniscuss nya ay ang stigma around arts careers and then it rlly made me realize so many things
ALSO!! another advice i got. theres no deadline to anything in life unless u make one. like when i was picking what i wanted to take up after jr high i contemplated on like staying and pursuing stem, but my friend told me na if its smth that i want then i should pursue it. it doesnt matter if u start little by little, like sharing ur stuffs (bonus bc it helps build up ur portfolio) and then u slowly go up to making a career out of ur works. u shouldn’t rush things kase bc u should live at ur own pace etc etc.
rlly glad to have a dad like him. i thinkits mostly bc he himself wanted to pursue arts but then he couldnt bc they werent able to financially support that. n like maybe he knows what it feels like. AND THANK YOUUU working on my pottery project currently so rlly need some sort of encouragement 😰 U TOO!!! GOOD LUCK!! hope u get into the college u want!! stay safe alwayssss 🤍
