The way it purred out of his mouth would have suggested that he was on the side of stupid. Looks were always deceiving, however. There were plenty of rumors buzzing around; the man wasn't stupid, he had heard what his companions had been saying. This woman was a bad idea.
Taking a seat next to her, he ordered himself another little something to drink. Two simple ingredients, but a favorite of his. Even if only for the name. The group he had walked in with were quiet, taking bets to see how long he would last sitting over there.
"Looked like you could use the comp'ny."
A little wink, and he held up his drink to clink with hers should she have gotten another one. And if not, he merely held it up in a form of salute.
