Ceres had the wonderful idea of pixie cut hair instead of Mercie’s bob and honestly... I dig it a lot. so when I’m back on PC I am gonna be amending my post-skip hair headcanon 😌
Markus required an army / trained men / an experienced leader in the area that William was terrorizing and Viktor happened to fit the bill. He was competent and feared and could be merciless and this is exactly what Markus needed at the time. Viktor agreed to provide the army and fight Markus’ war under the conditions that no one else know that Viktor was not the progenitor / oldest - aka most powerful of the species.
It’s also my personal headcanon that Amelia was either his bastard daughter or the daughter of a second / third wife. (Other Amelia’s etc. do not have to go w/ this is they don’t want but I think at the bare minumun Amelia grew up a Ward if Viktor’s house - he wouldn’t give just anyone that position as “equal” as one of the Elders later on even if she was pretty much the same immortal age.)
I headcanon that probably a good 1/2 of the people Viktor turned or sent to Amelia and Markus to be turned died and that’s before the carnage of the actual fights against the Lycans.
Viktor’s control and territory mass probably quadrupled in the first decade that he had his army and just continued to spread, albeit a little slower after the initial surge.
Myths of the night walkers and the wolf men probably ran rampant for a while until most of that area was under Viktor’s control and William was captured. Tributes continued in various forms for centuries though eventually handled through proxies and human lords - those select few who could claim they were the great defenders of the realm w/in the territory and rumors died down to myth and lore .... mostly.
I also hc that Amelia and Markus were a great deal more friendly with each other than they let on and that a lot of their power moves and manipulations throughout the centuries were an attempt to keep Viktor in check as much as they could.
So. I’m going to make one small blurb regarding the tone of the anon I received last night about some links not working properly in my stranger things icon posts. Yes. I am glad someone let me know. No I am not pleased with the tone of the message.

Polite and appreciative instead of coming off salty and omg how dare you make me waste my time trying to download the wrong thing (or whatever).
I spend $12 a month for Dropbox pretty much solely to keep my download links viable for caps and icons I’ve posted. I pay $50 a month for photoshop. If, let’s say, I used a vpn so I could download the source material for commissions, and caps and icons that I edit / post for free that’s another $10 a month. And yes. Obviously I make use of these things for myself and sometimes for commissions but I do not have to spend my time and the money allocated to those things plus equipment to make things for free.
Dropbox is dumb sometimes. When you upload multiple files sometimes it selects other ones already in the folder for no apparent reason or doesn’t properly copy the new link for the new file you’re trying to link to into the clipboard. It happens. Shit gets mislabeled or wrong links get sent.
If someone has a post of resources especially free ones whether it’s a psd or icons or a theme and a link or something doesn’t work yes they probably want you to tell them. Yes you still need to use basic manners. Please. Thank you. Things you should’ve learned to use when asking for something when you were four whether you know the person or not but especially when not.
I know I’m tired and yesterday was a very stressful day for me but. I do not have to be here or write here I do not owe anyone anything I do this for fun and I post resource for free so that other people can enjoy their time here without having to stress about money for commissions or whatever. I am very laid back and I will wait years for replies and I will have 500 threads going that some get pounced three times a day and the others wait six months for a reply with someone. Idc. I am chill. I don’t care about the drama. I don’t expect people to water down their characters or any of that.
mike is patient, probably the most patient of all the losers, but he’s not a pushover. he’s kept quiet for a lot of his life because he doesn’t want to attract additional attention, since he’s the black kid and the orphan from the fire, but he’s not a doormat. according to his grandfather, his only option for survival is overt aggression, but mike doesn’t agree with that mindset, particularly since his father taught him otherwise. but his father also taught him that the important things are worth fighting for. so, mike learns how to fight - just not in the way the world expect him to.
he reads, almost nonstop, and that’s how he arms himself. he solves century-old mysteries of derry all on his own. he knows he’s not loud like richie, or brave like bill. but mike has perseverance, and it’s strong enough to last as other memories fray at the edges; his instinct to be ready leaves him unable to completely forget. if it wasn’t for mike’s follow-though, derry might have suffered at the hands of IT for centuries.
mike won’t ever see himself as a hero, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t one.
wELL SINCE YOU ASKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! heres a messy post of some of the sad headcanons (both modern and canon) ive been thinking about lately!!!! (tw: nsfw, drugs, alcohol, death, mentions of abuse)
this basically goes without saying and ive talked about this before but izuna was clinically diagnosed with severe depression when he was 14 and its been stuck with him ever since. it has a lot to do with his mom’s death but also tajima treats his sons like shit and their relationship is very tense and basically izuna’s early home life really left him fucked up in all kinds of ways. sad truth though is!!!! you’d never know from meeting him! izuna is SO RIDICULOUSLY good at putting up a care-free front and its largly bc of how outgoing he is.
again, in modern, izuna definitely has some unhealthy coping mechanisms. madara particularily worries for izuna bc of this too. izuna partys too much, drinks too much, and does so intensionally! he’s all like “its fun, its whatever” which is true, but izuna also loves to get smashed bc he doesnt have to think. same thing applies to his drug usage. though its much less frequent than his drinking. same purpose applies.
izuna..................started engaging in sexual exchanges/having sex too young. tajima was VERY unaccepting of izuna’s sexuality and izuna “rebelled” in some....questionable ways. i would expand on this headcanon further bc i think it applies to both canon and modern BUT.......it definietly isnt something i condone and while izuna’s experimentation was mostly good...is also wasnt at times. and anyway idk if i should expand upon that here or not........
izuna was a really lonely kid growing up. he found a lot of solice in books and drawing but he didn’t have any friends. madara was his best friend growing up.
in canon, izuna never dates anyone. he sleeps with people but he never dates. he doesnt believe in soulmates. despite his flirty and joking exterior, he’s actually very pessimistic about love.
izuna’s mangekyou ability (besides susanoo) is linked to/has to do with lucid dreams and dream manipulation. he basically has the strongest, most intense form of genjutsu out there in a sense bc he can like...... make people relive their greatest nightmares to no end. all kinds of fucked up shit goes down in that genjutsu. the drawback for IZUNA, however, is he’s forever doomed to experiencing various degrees of nightmares every time he sleeps. not always...but more often than not. he is lucky to get more than 4 hours of straight sleep. and bc of this, he’s trained himself to wake up in the middle of the night so as to miss a nightmare. it doesnt always work tho.
izuna often feels he’s stuck in madara’s shadow and isnt given enough credit for how hard he works. of course, he’d never say it outloud, but he harbours the ill feelings and tries to channel them into artwork or training.
izuna nearly drowned when he was 5 years old because he went wandering without madara and fell into a river. he’s been deathly afraid of water or large pools ever since. this makes fighting tobirama (a water style user) very difficult and challenging, but he learns to manage himself fine when they’re battling.
in kishimoto’s shitty canon script..... i headcanon that izuna was strong in his resolve to give madara his eyes and thus leave him with stronger abilities.....right up until the last few seconds of his fading conscienceness. madara was crying and izuna was saying things like “its alright, ill always be with you” until he was too weak and thus started crying himself and quietly whispering “i dont wanna go, i dont wanna die”. izuna’s last words were madara’s name, and he was crying quietly.
