2020.07.01 - 1/30 Days of Learning

I reset my progress in LingoDeer and completed 2 lessons. In DeerPlus, I completed the daily challenges.

I’ve found that I’m pretty weak when it comes to spelling. Drifting Letters kicked my butt. I wasn’t even able to complete the first level. 😩

I’ve created flashcards in Lexilize to help me practice reading the kana, and I’m delaying moving on to the next vocab list until I pass that level.

I’m so hyped for this. 😁

I’ve got the first part of the hiragana song stuck in my head. It’s catchy.

Also, soon I will have a page dedicated to screaming shortly.

75% finished with the Basic JavaScript section. Just got started learning about objects. Seems pretty straight forward.

My digital journal now contains a total of 9 notes just for this section. Can't wait to see how many my notebook will have once I've finished the course.

50% of the way through. Why an increase of only 5%? Because I went back to the beginning to take ALL of the notes :)

Was totally worth it.

Just started the JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures course on freeCodeCamp. Was prompted to start studying after realizing I am woefully unprepared to apply to any available entry-level development work currently out there.

Probably shouldn't have looked on Indeed, but it happens.

My goal is to complete this section by tomorrow night, but in case I get particularly busy at work tomorrow, Wednesday works, too.

I’m working on the Python Course Tutorial for Python 3 and I just typed out this program:

And they weren’t kidding when they said we weren’t supposed to understand what was going on. I recognize the looping and conditionals, but I don’t understand the math behind it. Guess I gotta brush up on my math skills while I’m at it.
