A Change is Set to Come

Physically, Mentally, and Socially, I plan to better myself this year. I’m tired of feeling sorry for myself so much of the time and after some things that have put me in a bad place, I’ve decided to take a stand and fight back against the bad and put myself on the track to being happy and healthy. 

A Change is Set to Come, and I’m going to make it a change that can’t be easily undone.

There was a lot more to get out here than I realized...

I just wanted to look back for a happier time, but instead I just saw old messages that I thought I had gotten rid of. I also noticed that I’m not as close with some friends as I used to be. I just want to move pass all of this but for whatever reason I’m stuck at a standstill. 

I guess a few things just hit all at once and I’m trying to process them all, but as soon as I start to get one topic off my mind another one gets into my way. I just want to be happy again. I want to be close to my friends again. I want to feel better.

I don’t think it would be so bad, but I feel like one of my friends only texts me when they want to. We used to talk daily, but now we barely speak unless she wants to. I try to start and keep conversations going but they always fall flat because she only responds with one word.

Even when I’m hanging out with my friends I feel like I’m just someone who just randomly joined them. I don’t feel like I fit in anymore and I guess because of that I just don’t want to be involved with them anymore. At least not as a whole considering I work with one of them. My other friend isn’t bad either, just not too attentive. I used to feel so great around them, and now I feel like a shell of my former self. It doesn’t help that I just spent a good chunk of money on the first friend’s Christmas present. It makes me feel worse because I worry that I just spent all this money and she won’t care because I’m the one who got it for her. 

I know I’m just reading too much into this, along with some other feelings I’m not going to get into here, but god is it taking it’s toll on me.

I feel so alone right now. So many thoughts are going through my head and I can’t stop to pin one down. I feel like I can’t talk about it to my friends because I don’t want to bother them and I don’t think they’d care either. I just want to not feel anything for a week.

It sucks when you want to get stuff off your chest but don’t know how to put it into words.
