Plot Summary: When four fangirls of The Ruperts (a fictionalized version of boy bands like One Direction) decide they’re going to do whatever it takes to meet the band, things get a little out of hand. It starts with booking a room at the same hotel the boys are staying in, and leads to Rupert P. (the decidedly biggest flop of the whole band) tied up, kidnapped, in their hotel room. And things only spin more wildly out of control from there. 

First lines: “ Okay, so just know from the start that it wasn't supposed to go like this. All we wanted was to get near The Ruperts, our favorite boy band. We didn't mean to kidnap one of the guys. It kind of, sort of happened that way. But now he's tied up in our hotel room. And the worst part of all, it's Rupert P. All four members of The Ruperts might have the same first name, but they couldn't be more different. And Rupert P. is the biggest flop out of the whole group.”

You should read this surprisingly feminist, satirical account of boybanders and fangirls gone wrong, that both pokes fun at itself while also allowing for he craziness that comes with passion and loving something (even if you don’t have a solid reason as to why.)
