Hey everyone! It’s been a long week and we hope for those who celebrate Labor Day, that you all had a good one with your families or whomever you spent the day with!
As the title entails, we are now back online! For the past week, we’ve been throwing ideas back and forth to refresh the concept of the roleplay and how things were ran. We’ve updated many existing pages, as well as added new ones! We are very excited to play out this new direction we’ve put forth and hope to strengthen our bonds as a TC family, and to further delve into the knitty gritty of all sanctions and those inhabiting them.
The roleplay shall now commence as per usual, and as stated before on our OOC blog, we will be returning to our weekly activity check six days from now. Which ultimately means that on September 7th or 8th we will be issuing an activity check and will be unfollowing members/characters on September 9th, respectively! For future applicants and current members, we will also be accepting auditions this coming Wednesday, September 5th!
Under the cut, we have laid out the gist of updates, consisting of pages that we encourage current (and future) members to revisit and to acquaint themselves with!

WHAT IS NEW / UPGRADED?
AESTHETICS
The main has a new sleeker look! Graphics have been replaced as well as headers to give off a more refined and ambiguous feel to the main. We’ve added a music player for people to vibe to while they browse our many links, as well as a Pinterest widget to further the experience.
TIMELINE
The timeline has been altered with more specifics! This time around, it includes the seasons and years of when each sanction came to be, as well as events leading up to where Toxic City stands now. As the roleplay progresses, the timeline will be updated so that everyone will be on the same page. Feel free to take a look at it to inform yourself of the history of your character’s sanction!
PROMPTS WILL NOW BE IMPLEMENTED
A set of monthly prompts will begin to drop to further develop characters and to prevent a lull in the roleplay! They will be open to self-paras or between other members, usually regarding the current plot drop or to give members suggestions as to what to write and what direction their characters should be going!
UPDATED AUDITION FORM // OCS & WANTED CONNECTIONS UNLOCKED
The aspect of skeletons are still present, but to accommodate wanted connections, we’ve opened up OCs! Two separate forms were created for our skeletons and for our OCs/wanted connections. You may find both forms here, and to submit a wanted connection, look here.
We’ve added the option of creating your own labels to put on the graphics in both audition forms! A list of taken labels will be linked in the DESIRED SKELETON/IN CHARACTER INFORMATION portions of their respective forms.
Speaking of labels and graphics, the following characters’ labels have been changed on their graphic, some based on their answers to the statistics task and some based on both their skeletons and their bios: Morphine, Ecstasy, Dimitri, Simon Chun, and Peyote. If there are any issues regarding these labels, please let us know and we’ll be happy to change them to your liking!

Sanction pages now have ‘a remaining OC slots open’ portion to keep a cap on how many of each sanction we will be accepting!
WINNING PLOT DROP
After much anticipation, the results of our recent plot drop poll has come to The Serial Killer! This means Dertosa will be plagued with more bodies than the city mortician deals with on a daily basis. The victims don’t seem connected, save for the fact that they have been found within the city limit. Toxic City is on edge and there are no possible leads.
In a few days, before our official plot drop post is posted, we will be issuing a good ol’ fashioned chatzy to involve members on the happenings of this event! We will be discussing matters that need your ‘yes and no’s’ as well as implementing a new practice to better our communication with you all! Following the chatzy, the plot drop post will then be posted to commence the event with details you will need to know in order to flourish in this event, along with prompts to help further dive into it!
We know this week couldn’t have been slower, as we’re all itching to get back to writing, so we want to thank you guys for not only being patient but encouraging us along the way in order to bring forth a successful revamp! We’ve taken advice and suggestions given by various members seriously, as we hope you guys are pleased with all that has been reinvented! We love you guys and are looking forward to our bright future!
Hey everyone! So we’ve got a whole ‘nother set of new things we’ve added and done to the main page as well as an announcement regarding second characters.
First of all, we’ve updated both sidebars & wanted FC graphics, including links. A sneak peek of our event is also up. It will be called the History of Dertosa Gala, taking place at the Import Museum in the Diamonte District! Complete details will be revealed next Saturday, July 28th.
On that note, we will not be doing acceptances August 1st (our scheduled acceptance day) to really delve into the event. So future applicants must send in their auditions any time tomorrow, Wednesday the 25th in order to partake in this event.
Secondary characters are also up for grabs! There will be no need for para samples and OOC information (password too) so as long as you submit your secondary characters through your character accounts! We know this is late notice for writing up second characters, so please don’t feel the need to rush!
Our OOC master list has also been revamped by sanction and skeleton, as well as linked to bios for easy access for better navigation.
Members! We’ve also created a new tag that everyone must follow called, tcrp.inspo. Here, we will track our member’s creations and queue them for our inspo blog! Any and all creations are welcome as long as they are of original work!

Afternoon everyone! It’s nearing 4PM PST, and we all know what time that is! Acceptance time! Shortly after, rolling acceptances for the whole night will be available and after today, our regular acceptance day and time will return to Wednesdays! That being said, our first event is officially over! Members, you are free to continue your threads for as long as you wish, but please refrain from posting new starters as well as replying to Gala related starters (unless it is a private thread) after today!

Hi guys! We — Annie & C, finally gathered our bearings after we very spontaneously and unplanned took over the group. The both of us love the Dertosa and it’s inhabitants and we’d love to see the group flourish and will do our best to achieve that. We have finally established a plot, the summary of which we have posted on the ooc-blog. Please make sure you stop by and familiarize yourself with the key points while we work on polishing the plot as well as tweaking the timeline here and there.
Everyone is welcome to re-write and tweak their characters, however, no one has to. Should you choose to tweak your characters please submit all changes to the main by September 17th so we can update all bios if necessary in a timely manner. Should you have any questions regarding what is planned in order to decide what you will do with your characters, please come forward, we are always happy to help!
In the meantime you are free to pick up old threads or start new ones, to plot and to post and send memes while we work on the plot and timeline. Later today we will post a first writing prompt to officially kick things off and get everyone started.

We initially intended for acceptances to be tonight, however some of the core threads we needed to end the event with have just begun/have not yet been posted, so we will be extending the event until Saturday! Good day to everyone! We’ve been getting some messages about people needing to be put on hiatus, so we’ve created a page specifically for those who’ve requested it (and will need one in the future). You will find the page here. And for future reference to those who may need one, the rules and format are explained on the page! Just let us know the reason as well as if you will need a full hiatus or a semi-hiatus, along with the date range (from the date you’re leaving and returning!) in which you will be gone/inactive.
