Unbothered by the sight of random fires by this point, only a side effect to being married to the Ultimate Pyromaniac really, Fawkes calmly approaches the stranger. The three metre high flames make for a warm and impressive spectacle, and the Chemist adjusts his cracked glasses a little on his nose to take a better look.

Despite the unintended victory, Xun found the circumstances somewhat humorous, if not embarrassing. He would have informed Sun Quan that he’d merely observe, but the thought slipped along with his foot. While Xu Sheng fretted over his condition (Ding Feng was afraid of breaking him), Zhu Ran managed to... catch a fish. Whether he used a rod or bare hands and determination, there was a fish, crisp and golden as it roasted above the fire. The others promised to return with firewood and a proper meal (more fish), leaving Wu’s resident fire enthusiast to his devices.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Mm, I’m not quite sure what was going one at Koei HQ when they came up with this interpretation of him. :T There’s so much historical info they could’ve drawn upon, but his character’s basically summed up with “fire attack”. Even the NPC lines had more personality than what we have now, and that’s saying something. :/ Though I have to say his moveset’s super fun to use once you get used to it~

How they play them: I’m eager to see how Sparky develops and adds to Zhu Ran aside from ‘fIRE’, and she’s been doing wonderfully from what I’ve seen~ The muse is relatively new so I’m curious to see what else is in store! Her writing is clear and easy to understand with the details included, which makes for a fun RP experience~

The Mun: Sparky is very kind and a super talented artist, like yoooooo. (and that birthday art hnnnghghghgh I still scream from the beauty ;www;) Smol pyromaniac who keeps setting the group chat on fire (with me telling her chill in a loving manner 8|) but I’ll protect her nonetheless because Mama Birb looks out for her birb-lings~ Super chill and laid-back friend, and I always enjoy talking to her even if time zones and school get in the way :’))

It was a harshly windy day. The trees and plants shook as the sky reigned its divine retribution on the tired earth. But he needed to train. Or at least, he thought he was going to train. Through rain or shine, snow or sleet he was forced to perform his daily practice regime with Xingcai but she was nowhere to be seen. He made a brazen comment on how he could now take a nap but there was no sound to be heard. None. A sign that told him he could do what he wished. And though he pretended that he had no interest in practice, if it meant seeing that nod of approval of hers, well that was all the motivation he needed.

Still, even the training grounds were empty, barring one person. Zhu Ran, his hair flying in the wind, his clothing threatening to block his sight, was executing perfect bull’s eye after bull’s eye. And in this wind, it seemed an impossible feat. What better tutor for archery then.

“Mind if I join you?” He asked.

my opinion on;

character in general: I don’t actually have much of an opinion on Zhu Ran. He’s not in DW8:XL enough to get a good feel for his character. All I know is that he is a pyromaniac who needs to chill the fuck out.how they play them: I love the way that Sparky added the missing personality that Koei seemed to have hidden. It seems that this is causing me to like him a little more, but I still don’t like him enough to have an opinion on him- anyway, this muse is 100% great and I will never regret rping and shipping with this Zhu Ran on my Zhou Yu blog B)the mun: Sparky is a very special person to me. She is kind, funny and I really enjoy speaking with her! The more we speak, the more I feel that this is a friendship that’s never going to be broken. I have trusted her with a secret or two, and she’s proven to me that I can also trust her as much as what I thought I could. I am proud to say that I am her friend, and I am even more proud to admit that I am shipping with her.
