Disappointing Concert, Disappointing Venue

My husband, his cousin and I attended an Offspring concert last night and they were terrible. One quarter of their set were cover songs by Black Sabbath, the Ramones and the Beatles and another 25% was just talk, talk, talk. And, it wasn't even interesting talk. Just really, really bad.

Thank god for the opening act, Bad Religion. They knew how give a concert.

The other disappointment was the new TD Coliseum. It was supposed to be better than Copps Coliseum, which is what it was called originally.

They were supposed to have a bigger variety of food and drinks but I only saw one open kiosk and it didn't have a lot of different foods.

The old bathrooms in the previous incarnation were plentiful with lots of stalls. I used 2 bathrooms while there last night and one only had 4 stalls while the other had 10. Both the men's and women's bathroom lines were long.

And, finally, where we sat. We were in Section 109, Row 21. The seats were much narrower than the previous incarnation and they've added a cup holder to make it even more narrow. We were lucky as two of our three seats had no one and nothing in front of us other than the stairs. But, the massive guy in front of me was really wedged into his seat.

I don't think we'll be attending a lot of concerts there as both my husband and I have knee issues that require space to stretch.

All-in-all, it was a disappointing night.
