This is one of my pieces for the @tododekubigbang I participated in this year with my amazing partner @hookedonthesky This was my first ever Big Bang and let me tell you it was a blast! I can’t thank my partner, mods, and everyone involved enough for making this such a fun event.

Title: Defying the Odds
Paring: Midoriya Izuku/Todoroki Shouto
Summary:
An Epic Romance that will go down in History
Midoriya Izuku always has dreamed of an adventure but never dared to leave the safety of his hometown behind. But when his cousin, who already was engaged, got selected to be one of the 24 candidates that would compete to win the crown prince's hand in marriage, Izuku knew that he was the only one who could go in her stead. He would go there, posing as his cousin, and failing the first test and be sent home. He wonders if he would get his happily ever after, or his future would go up in flames.
His plan is thrown in disarray when he grows attached to the palace. No, the people in the palace. Between growing friendships with the greatest girls Izuku ever met and slowly falling for the king's replacement Shouto, he no longer wanted to leave. But as time passes, more of his friends are sent home, and it gets harder to keep his identity a secret.
I can’t believe I can finally share this story! What started out as a last-minute idea for the @tododekubigbang turned into this beast of a story. I’ve had an absolute blast during the event. I was partnered with @sulkingmoon, who made a wonderful art piece for the story, and is overall a solid guy to work with, so make sure to check them out too!

A powerful demon shackled by his rank, his will held hostage by his father's rule. A young child raised by exorcists, curiosity and smarts unmatched by anyone his age. Certainly, it can only be a match made in Hell, one that will either destroy them or bind them together by more than just fate.
Finally I am able to start posting my fic for @tododekubigbang! I was blessed to work with @zamaraki on this, they are an absolute sweetheart and their art is just so adorable! Make sure you check them out!
I’m so excited to share this fic with you all! Hope you enjoy ^-^ (Chapters will be posted once a week and 12 is just the rough estimate of how many chapters I will end up with along with arc 2 but once I have written that out, I will certainly update the final count!)
