This is one of my pieces for the @tododekubigbang I participated in this year with my amazing partner @hookedonthesky This was my first ever Big Bang and let me tell you it was a blast! I can’t thank my partner, mods, and everyone involved enough for making this such a fun event.

Sorry it took me so long, but my new job kind of owns my life at the moment.

Summary:  When Izuku is hit with a quirk, he is suddenly sent to different dimensions. Disoriented and confused, he has to work out the differences of each universe and find his way home. None of them are quite the same, but they all have one constant: his love for Shouto.

“Who are you? Why are you putting up magic seals? What do they do? ”

Green Lightning snarls back, all defiance, “Why were you chasing me? Is Shigaraki sending out goons to hunt for him now?”

This isn’t at all the way interrogations go for the police or Citadel Guard. It might be the point of good cop - bad cop partnerships, and switching interrogators, but Shouto’s on his own. “Who’s Shigaraki?” Not one of the many organized crime bosses of the city, Shouto had them memorized years ago.

“Shouldn’t you know who you work for? Or is he contracting out?” It’s spit back in his face, and Shouto has never seen someone so afraid but determined.

“I’m with the Citadel Guard.”

“You’re not with - then that- unless the Guard is dirty? Only, the badge is oath guarded to the Covenant - ” Green Lightning is mumbling a storm, something Shouto can barely follow after the first few moments. “New variable, Shigaraki can’t have- but he’s not - ....” Finally, Green Lightning seems to come back to reality, even as his face flushes red once he makes eye contact, “Can you let me out of this ice? I can’t feel my toes.”

“That’s rough buddy.”

“Wait,” Shouto said as he glanced back and forth between Momo and Jirou’s faces, one looking nervous and earnest while the latter looked as if she was trying not to burst out laughing. “You want me,” he started slowly, “to pretend to be dating your girlfriend,” he gestured towards Jirou, “so you,” he looked back at Momo, “can bring her along to the World Hero Conference without giving away that you’re dating each other.”

Momo looked to a smirking Jirou and then back at him. “Yes. That pretty much sums it up.”

This is really late but...

This is my second piece for the @tododekubigbang I participated in this year with my amazing partner @hookedonthesky.  This scene is in chapter 7 of the fic called The Turning Wheel.

“P-practice?” was all Izuku managed to squeak out. He would’ve been more embarrassed by his reaction if his mind wasn’t so focused on Todoroki’s words.

“Yeah,” Todoroki said. Izuku couldn’t believe he sounded so calm on the surface, only a faint waver giving him away. What he was giving away though, Izuku couldn’t begin to guess. “So there’s no chance of messing it up in front of others.”

Izuku’s mouth felt dry as his mind waged a quick battle, ill-advised words fighting to escape.

“Well, do you, uh, do you want to practice?” Immediately Izuku had the urge to bite down on his tongue. Those were the exact words he knew he hadn’t ought to say.

Todoroki shifted next to him, turning ever so slightly. “You’d do that?”

If only Todoroki knew just how willing he was.

“Y-yeah, sure. I mean we wouldn’t want to let Momo and Jirou down. And if you’re really worried about it we can p-practice right now, you know, just in case.” Izuku’s voice was nowhere near even and he really hoped Todoroki didn’t read much into it.

“Just in case,” Todoroki echoed quietly, and Izuku couldn’t tell if that was an affirmation or not.

When no other words were forthcoming, he forced himself to look at Todoroki, not knowing what to expect. What he didn’t expect was the clenched jaw, slightly wider than normal eyes, and flushed cheeks. Todoroki looked beautiful, and Izuku was suddenly very thankful for the cold breeze that must be giving rise to that color.

The longer they stared at each other in silence, the harder it was for Izuku to stop his eyes from straying down to Todoroki’s lips.

“Umm, so should I just k-kiss you then?”

Izuku woke up slowly, lazily dragged up from the depths of his dreams. It’d been a while since he’d slept so comfortably, and the warmth surrounding him tempted him to fall back asleep. He snuggled closer to the source of that warmth, rubbing his face against his pillow—

Wait. That didn’t feel like a pillow. It almost felt like…

Confused, Izuku groggily forced his eyes open and was met with gray. Gray? He was pretty sure the bed sheets had been white.

Instead of giving in to the desire to continue drifting in that hazy space between awake and asleep, Izuku made himself pull back a bit to take in the sight before him. It was then that he registered the arm wrapped around his back keeping him close and how his own hand was clenching gray material—Todoroki’s shirt.
