What are we supposed to do when Amelia breaks you? You're always here for us when we need you, Yu. We're here for you too but.. when she breaks you, she'll break you for good. We won't be able to fix you. You're our family. You're the glue that holds us together. What will you do? What about Lily? Connor? Clara? Don't you love Clara too? And Ella? We can't go on without you there for us. You know that, right?

Sinclair held Connor on her hip as she walked toward one of the borders of the circus, a place where no one was allowed without permission. She looked down at the boy for a moment and inwardly sighed. She had always wanted a child when Chris was alive. She had pushed all of that out for so long, that holding one now was surprising. Good surprising. Sinclair still wanted kids of her own someday.
