tdov 2018 vs tdov 2019.

testosterone is one hell of a drug and i’m so much happier with the way i look. i’ve been on t for nearly 5 months and at first i was terrified i’d regret it eventually despite this coming ltnof the blue but i havent regretted my decision for one second and i’m so much more comfortable now. hrt isn’t a magic fix for everything of course but it’s crazy just how much going on testosterone has made looking in the mirror easier and helped ease insecurities that i didn’t even realise were trans related. things aren’t perfect right now of course but i just think it’s worth saying that things are always going to get better eventually and you’ll end up more comfortable in your own skin one day and you won’t even realised it’s happened until you look back.

i’m so much more comfortable in my identity as a trans person and i don’t struggle to say the word out loud anymore. one of my closest friends in real life is trans as well and so many of my best friends are otherwise lgbt and even though my mental health may still be in the gutter and not all of my issues wanna let up yet, i’m in a much better place than i was last year and i’m so much more confident than i used to be
