Andrea puts the milk in too soon when making tea for me sometimes and It Is The Worst (If you’re brewing tea, putting the milk in first or too soon cools the temperature significantly below the optimum brewing temp, giving you sad, flavourless tea. Tbh, knowing the British, they probably object to putting milk in your cup before adding already-brewed tea from a pot too, but that’s just because they like to feel superior.)
