This is Guizhou province. Have you heard of it? It’s pretty esoteric in the tea world...it took us quite some effort to find only a handful of teas grown there that are available in the Western world, but you can get your hands on them if you try hard enough.
Maybe some day teas from here will be more widely available. It’s sort of fascinating; teas from bordering provinces of China are much more widely available, including Yunnan, and even Sichuan, Hunan, and Guangxi provinces.
