So I put a shout out on my Facebook page for literary references to title a play I'm writing. The protagonist suffers from severe clinical depression and basically controls the life of his caretaker who refuses to abandon him. I want a title that reflects the protagonist's extreme but unwanted and/or unknown power. Some suggestions included Stranger in a Strange Land and Wart from The Once and Future King.Is it bad that I'm offended that someone suggested Edward Cullen?
Moreover, has anyone else got ideas? I had sort of wanted to use a St Peter reference, but I'm rethinking that.
So I have to write thank yous for the show I'm in...Is it wrong to put an Oxford comma joke in the thank yous for a punny Doctor Who parody? It feels right to thank my parents, John Barrowman and the Oxford comma.
