TEA - POP RESTAURANT REVIEW
The teapop cafeteria is situated in the heart of a small town of General T. De Leon in Valenzuela City. This is not the only branch of the said cafeteria. Teapop also has branches in Barangay Polo in Valenzuela City, Malabon City, and Navotas City.
The branch of teapop in General T. De Leon is near a small church and different schools. It is a favorite hangout place of families, students, and some people living nearby. At first, you’ll think that the cafeteria is just an ordinary eatery where you order snacks and do certain things like browsing books, relaxing, spending time alone or with friends. But the cafeteria is so much more!
The place is cozy, comforting, and definitely relaxing. The place also has their trademark checkered floor that matches the design of the whole place. The walls contain different paintings of animated characters and word arts that could really make a pop art fan enjoy the place. The place offers couches and spots filled with pillows that would make the customers feel more comfortable while eating their favorite meals.
About the foods, their bestsellers were totally amazing. No doubt those meals are the most popular to everyone.
First, for the milktea, one of their bestsellers is the Choco Strawberry. Of course, I tried the milktea and it tastes great. It didn’t tastes like other choco strawberry milk teas that taste like chocolate in the first zip with an aftertaste of a strawberry or the other way around. Their Choco Strawberry milktea tastes like the strawberry and chocolate mixed together.
Then, for the meals I tried the Porkchop with rice because it is the first bestseller. Sadly, Salisbury steak, is not available by that time. The price of the meal is so worth it. Your money would not be wasted because the meal is not so expensive but you would be satisfied with it.
For their Frappe menu, their bestseller flavor is Java chips. This flavor is totally cool and tasty. There are chips sinkers and an incredibly flavorful chocolate frappe.
Of course, every person has something of what we called “favorites”. For me, that favorite dish is sizzling pork sisig. Not necessarily that my favorite sisig dish is the one served at Tea-pop. So, I ordered their Sizzling Pork Sisig, although the meal was not on their bestsellers, tastes really good. The sizzling sisig served with a fresh egg on top smells real good and is very tasty.
The foods served in teapop were not too expensive and also very affordable. The place is always visited by regulars so I can say that the place is not an “expensive” type of café. The prices of their milkteas range from 65-85 pesos. Their meals (all-day breakfast meals and rice meals) have prices ranging from 65-100 pesos. Lastly their frappes are also affordable having a price range of 70-100 pesos.
Overall, I am highly recommending the Teapop cafeteria. Not only the foods are good, but also the staff of the place. They are so approachable and they have an irresistibly contagious smile. The whole place would definitely give you this relaxing and comforting mood for the rest of the day. I would give this cafeteria 4 out of 5 stars in rating and I hope others would try visiting Teapop too!
