Can you imagine how much fun this would have been?? The creative energy in that room...and of course not to mention, the teacher is easy on the peepers as well. Seriously though, I love Jerry when he's in instructor-mode. The passion, knowledge, and respect for what he does comes through and it's inspiring. Seeing photos like these make me wish I could go back in time......

All these new fans, who only know like the basics of the sonic games, coming in like “wait, Tails’s real name is Miles Prower?” Or even like “Whos this orange fox with two tails?” make me feel some strange emotion I cannot describe.
8.19.18 non meal prep day
Today has been crazy! I didn’t even have time to go grocery shopping. 😭 I think for the most part I was avoiding it in order to have an excuse not to meal prep.
I had a breakdown out of nowhere and I don’t even know why! I quickly called David and he calmed me down.
I think my anxiety is kicking in. We have enrichment camps tomorrow and we mostly have incoming 6 graders show up so it’s nothing to stress about really.
I’m prepared for my camp but idk why I’m freaking out!
I only made myself a tuna salad for tomorrow’s lunch.
Hubby is finally back tomorrow!
and he told me he would go grocery shopping for us tomorrow. I sent him a list of course.
I’ll post our meal prep tomorrow.

I survived the first day of school!!! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Of 12 kids, only one screamed and cried and that was only when I didn't have him actively engaged on something. Also this was his first time away from Mom, so it was expected. I'll just have to plan more to keep him busy until he adjusts. Other wise, really good day. I just hurt and tired as hell.
Prayer circle, blessings, and possible sacrifices are greatly appreciated as tomorrow is the first day back at school. I'm going to be working with 12 three year old's, and I already know of 4 who will be screaming and crying during drop off. For anyone who drinks, do a shot or two or however many you want for me (I don't drink but some days I wish I did). But I'm gonna need all the luck I can to get through the first week/month. It's always so hard on these little ones adjusting being away from home, especially if this is their first time in a child care like setting.
