Hey!!! The high school I went to had a “drive your tractor to school day” :) It was always a fun day. Like, half the student lot was full of tractors when that day rolled around every year. Made band practice a nightmare though because our practice field was the student parking lot. Lol :)

That’s hilarious! I loved how just unapologetically farm town our school was. We had cowboy themed dress up days all the time, and the whole school was dressed in their cowboy hats and boots. And when we were featured on the news as “Cool School of the Week” the FFA brought a calf to school. The whole thing was just so wild to me. 

Also there were weird things like some of the boys in one of my classes were calling each other heifers, and I had NO IDEA what it meant. I was afraid to google it, so I called up my friend from across the hallway and she had to explain what it was and that it was not dirty.

I swear teachers don't get paid enough. Yesterday I had to stop 3 fights in the span of 3 hours. Felt like a WWE referee in that building 😂

Not to be like “kids these days,” but Gen Z teens are something else. In the SAME class period I:

1. Had to genuinely explain to two students why it’s bad to use “gay” as an insult (Hillary Duff give me strength).

2. Was accused of being a terf by another student literally just because I have a little lesbian flag at my desk.

I’m…so tired.
