Another Sunday of virtual music lessons with my private students! I’ve had a few inquiries as to how I am using technology to connect with my students who are miles and states away so here’s a picture of my setup! I’m using a Scarlett 212 studio audio interface with condenser microphone and headphones with a small Blackstar speaker as a monitor. I use my Mac laptop to connect with students over Zoom video conferencing app and still use my 1940s Knabe Mignonette piano for warm ups, interval practice, and accompaniment if needed. I also use karaoke and lyric style videos to practice with amongst my vocalists. There is a slight delay with the videos, but easy enough to work around. What has made all the difference is having my students use headphones with a microphone so I can clearly hear them and their instrument. Payment for lessons is by PayPal, Venmo, or Apple Pay. I only have 2 more openings for private virtual lessons if you are interested! Message me and let’s see how I can connect with you musically! ☺️ #kelley4music #virtualmusiclessons #teachingwithtech #scarlett212studio #singinglessonsduringpandemic (at Kelley4Music) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDZaO0ED8ug/?igshid=98ps43jdnc5j
