Well, that was the last time Morgan went exploring in the Outrealms. It wasn’t as though he’d gone alone, but somehow he’d managed to lose the rest of the Shepherds, and now he was pretty turned around.
Maybe one of the locals could point him in the right direction? He was in a town, after all, so there were plenty of people around to ask. In fact, that girl at one of the stalls seemed awfully familiar...
“Morgan!” It had to be his cousin! It looked exactly like her... well, except for her hair. As he drew closer he could tell something was different, and of course he wouldn’t be lucky enough to run into someone who’d be able to help right off the bat. What kind of adventure would that be?
“Ah, I’m sorry for interrupting!” he apologized with a smile, realizing he was still staring at this girl from where he’d stopped a few feet away. At his height it was pretty easy to be intimidating. “You reminded me of someone I know, so I got kind of excited...”
