I'M FINALLY DONE WITH S!NULLA'S RESPONSE!!

The thing he holds to us in the last panel is his heart/essence. Getting swapped and replaced into his memories has altered his character quite radically, however, his fundamental core remains the same. His origin as the void from the garden cannot be rewritten even by such drastic world corruption, hence his essence is still intact with its pink-purple hue.

While Neo. He's gotten an essence like Nulla's as he swapped places into the garden, but it lacks actual soul. It's a mimicry of what is a thing only for the symbols of the garden—hence, it is black and white (seen directly in Neo's void form art I made a few posts ago, his "mouth" has no color).
