This is a personal post about what I love the most.
To be more specific, its about my high school robotics team. Being on Miss Daisy was such a magical experience to even have and I'm proud to say that I am a four year veteran. I wear my veteran's necklace with pride for the past 3 years and I'm not planning to take it off any time soon. It's a reminder of where I came from and how I grew as an individual.
I don't even know where to begin on what I should say because there's way too many things to say about why I love Miss Daisy, Team 341, so much. Its the adrenaline of walking into the stadium, seeing many teams, seeing them cheer, seeing our robots in action, walking around in the pits, and making new friends from other teams. Its truly an amazing atmosphere that F.I.R.S.T. (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics has and its something that I definitely want to keep coming back to even when I'm in college studying to be an engineer.
Miss Daisy was the base of where I built my interest in engineering and to be honest, I'm not the most intelligent person. I'm actually pretty dumb. I desire to go to college because I want to strive to become an engineer and be that "smart" person that I want to be and be a part of a company that is a sponsor/supporter of F.I.R.S.T.
I want to take my time to be thankful, to the coaches, mentors, parents, and all the members on this team. It was an amazing experience that I wish to relive again and be a part of Miss Daisy. I'll always be a kid at heart and hopefully, I can come back to help mentor or if not just be there simply to assist rookies.
Class of 2012!
