Dhargon; Marines Malevolent 2nd Company
Kill Team Valtus; Vanguard
2/5
Youth, pride, and a ganger's childhood make for a volatile combination. Ripped from a violent childhood and raised into a life of war, Dhargon is no paragon of the virtues one might bear from a life such as his. Sterner cousins of stricter Chapters might argue that he holds to no virtues at all, but he'd care little to refute that which- to him- is almost a compliment.
Thrill-seeking holds more appeal to him than any play at tactics and he throws himself headfirst into every battle, his desire for personal victory melding with his addiction to the violence. He exemplifies the worst of his Chapter, thriving on brutality and eternally chasing the rush that comes with every flood of combat hormones.
Few are the commanders who know how to hold his leash, but those willing to bloody their knuckles and earn his deference gain themselves an asset more skilled than he makes evident. There is a brother of worth hidden in him, and his Chapter has gifted it to the Deathwatch with the hope that they can tame him into something more easily controlled.
Kill Team Valtus is no haven for Dhargon's indulgences, but he earns both his place and his delights with the practiced hand of a man used to fighting for his place in the world.
