Hatterene, Rapidash, Sylveon: Pride colors

Azumarill: Azurill used to have a different gender ratio than its evolutions (don't know if it still does), and thus some Marill would have a different gender upon evolving.

Gallade: a male-only Pokemon that evolves from the very feminine-coded Kirlia.

Kantonian Meowth: In honor of Maddie Blaustein, the original voice of Meowth.

Galar Pokemon Team V1

Thanks to Serbii’s recently updated Galar Pokedex page, I have come up with a current draft for the Pokemon I want to have in my team, if I do get a Switch that is. Still, I would love to switch between Pokemon to let them grow happily and stronger with every challenge and battle.

Here’s a draft of the pokemon I hope to get so far (also, if you want to make a Pokemon team for Galar, feel free to tag me so I can read it), and yes it will be edited over time before the game release, so keep your eyes open for the changes I’ll make to this team.:

Starter: Scorbunny, (Even if its final evolution is Fire/Fighting as nobody wants that to return, I’ll fight for my little fire bunny until the end. Fight me b*tches!)

Galar Exclusives: Gossifleur -> Edelgoss (FYI: Don’t compare them to the Whimsicott family just because they have cotton based origins, they’re based on different plants of cotton), Yamper (Galar is the Pokemon world version of the UK, so it’s a must!), Alcremie (If anyone tries to harm this cream/cake-based darling like how some did to the Vanillite family in Gen 5, you’re dead meat.)

Returning Pokemon: Pikachu (it’s the face of Pokemon and I need another electric Pokemon to add into the team, what else to add?), Ralts -> Kirlia -> Gardevoir (even if it’s a guy, I’ll evolve a Ralts into an awesome Gardevoir.), Roselia (since the Bulbasaur family is in limbo right now, I felt the Budew line is the best option, plus I love the Budew line more.), Eevee -> any of 8 older forms (I all love Eeveelutions, so it’s hard for me to decide which one to evolve Eevee into.), Lucario (Steel/Fighting and badass. Need to say more?), Minccino (notice that the theme of most of the Pokemon team is cute but deadly, Minccino can be deadly in this way), Espurr (This and Meowstic are neat in design and abilities.), Noibat (The Kalos anime got me wanting one so badly and grow it into a scary Noivern.), Tsareena (Love the Imperial Russia puns on this one.), Noctowl (If I can’t get Rowlet in Galar, I’ll get this one instead.)

MEET THE SQUAD - Cresselia RU Team Builder for Pokemon Sun & Moon

Welcome to Meet The Squad, a renewal of sorts for our Random Team Builders! Every Monday (unless we’re late *cough cough*), we are going to generate one random Pokemon and try to build an effective team around it to use for the coming week’s battles. This week, the randomizer gave us Cresselia - a Pokemon renowed for its annoying bulk! We’re going to redeem ourselves from the Milotic squad and try to successfully build a team around a strong wall!

And as a special bonus for you on Tumblr, at the end of the week I’ll be giving away the top three Pokemon from this team! How are we picking those three? Through a strawpoll of course! You can vote here and it’ll be open until Sunday morning

I miss Team Builder so much. I would love to try out new champions such as Warwick or Camille, but either their roles get called first in blind pick or they get banned/picked first in draft pick. Team Builder would take a while, but it was worth it to me since I was guaranteed getting the character I wanted.
