I stumbled across Season 1, Episode 1 of Buddy vs. Duff. After 4? 5? seasons, I take it for granted that Buddy and Duff know each other, Geof, Ralph and the rest of their regulars, their respective styles, strengths and weaknesses. So it was shocking to hear Duff say in the pilot that he had never watched an episode of “Cake Boss.”
Damn, Duff doesn’t hold back!
We are marathoning “Buddy Vs. Duff” today, and my family is Team Duff all the way. Reasons range from “I recognize him from the Kids Baking Challenge” to “I like Bald Guy better than Guy With Hair” to “Cake Boss always seemed like a rip-off of Ace of Cakes anyway.”
