It’s @peachygummipenguins‘s birthday today so I did a super fast sketch for her cause I totally didn’t need Facebook to remind me like whaaaaat
based on her old comic on Smackjeeves, this is Kitsuko the Eevee and Kyuubi the Vulpix, we actually first met on Smackjeeves when we both realized we had similar themed comics, that was quite a few years ago now. Occassionally we would feature each other’s characters in our comics (or well I had a big crossover planned for mine but didn’t get that far lol) and give each other shoutouts, and that’s basically how we became friends. We both ended up deciding to pursue other mediums partially due to our increasing busy schedule, and at least for me the pain in my shoulder made it difficult to draw at all let alone keep a schedule going, and I felt bad for always being in hiatus and taking so long to upload, and I really wanted to pursue animation (though because of my shoulder that’s still difficult)
She would always draw stuff for me of my characters and do birthday drawings for me, so I wanted to make sure to do one today since I had free time for once. Took me a bit to come up with a subject, but looking at her comic the recent panels involved them getting an egg, so I decided to do one of them being #bestadoptiveparents cause I thought it was cute~ Happy Birthday Peaches!
