It's a shame there weren't more events I could touch on, there were more amusing ones but not really enough to be worth the effort of screenshotting. Still, first time ever 100%ing an EO game, and the first time I ever even attempted a superboss in these. God, that was a nightmare. I have such a headache now.

I still don't entirely get how this event plays out? Something touches Marnix but it's on Tolero? Maybe he was standing near her at the time, idk. Still funny either way.

This time, karma (almost) bites Vladis in the ass.

Very amusing to have Marnix be the one identifying this, with the shoe on the other foot. Also I don't know why, but Tolero so rarely shows up in any events, usually only chiming in to use Night Vision or Detect Mana since those are unique to her. It's odd.

Time for part 2, where Vladis is yet again the sensible one. Also apparently the game has assumed Marnix is the tallest person in the guild and y'know what, close enough.

I'm going to assume Vladis knew (or at least suspected) something was there but let it happen anyway. Because that's hilarious.

EO:V Paradox Edition 1

I'm trying to play through Etrian Odyssey V yet again (I've still never beaten it) and decided to go for Team Paradox because wow is my hyperfix really hyperfixing lately and just. God I forgot how stupid the turtle encounter is. Under cut for length.

For slight context, you pick which character tries to get the coin from the turtle, but you don't chose who effectively ends the event, so Vladis being the one to speak up was entirely the game's doing. I also had to cut out the choices, but for Tronno it's just picking which direction to 'attack' from and for Najash, I could have had her try to grab it, but that would've just made her lose HP, so I went right for the 'chill the fuck out' option.

Not pictured/described: Marnix laughing his ass off and Tolero putting her face in her hands.

Also, Tronno lost like 40hp from this event, out of a 61hp total. And he's our tank. Why does this event do so much damage.

Brain: Hey y'know how it was planned for Tronno to go berserk and stuff 'cause he thinks the doomed timeline Tronno killed Vladis for a sacrifice and eventually kill said doomed timeline self?

Me: Yea, what about it.

Brain: What if doomed timeline where Vladis finds out and rushes in at the last second, getting hit instead and dying a heroic death because of Tronno.

Me: ...

Brain: Or could be a regular timeline thing where he almost dies instead. Either way.

Me: I'm not writing that.
