It was clear the faunus girl was losing her mind, or potentially drunk, knocking on random doors in a bomb squad uniform, a targeting glass over her left eye under the face mask, along with her railgun in hand “Excuse me, but I’ve got a warning to give to anyone in a couple block radius.” She starts off, slightly offset in her attitude, not quite speaking normally like she did. She was more energetic than usual, potentially a side effect of losing it. Hand tight on the grips, she continued her statements, “We’re experiencing a bit of an invasion warning, and I’m here to ask you kindly to either evacuate or fortify your housing, or potentially get bombed to hell.”

team-apex “This is Vale Civil Defense//This is a national emergency//Evacuation is in progress//Head immediately to your nearest emergency service shelter//Troops and Huntsmen will be there to meet you//Bring a photo ID and no more than one baggage item per person//Be aware of your surroundings//Be alert//Watch for Grimm//” Grey Gainsborough, former Atlesian Marine turned Beacon Academy student, shut the radio off in his helmet. That particular radio alert had been repeating itself for nearly four days now— as it was the only thing left on the air since the evacuation order was set into place. It had been four days since the Grimm took the city— by now all the fires that once consumed Vale were extinguished. There was only rubble now. The armor clad student walked the streets alone with railgun at the low ready, as he had done three days before, walking by destroyed homes, stores, abandoned cars, and the occasional human remains. The last order Grey had heard over the radio was a withdrawal order to any and all surviving units to relocate to the southern regions. Apparently it was safe from the Grimm. That and ‘godspeed’ was the last transmission he had heard. Grey had hoped to link up with an Army unit, huntsmen, or even with a civilian…but the Grimm were thorough and didn’t leave many survivors. He figured that since he survived for four days that he was either really lucky or just really fucking lucky. He stops in the middle of the deserted road to pull up the GPS on the heads up display in his standard issue helmet.
"According to this map…I should be half way out of the city limits by now…" It goes without saying that the City of Vale was a large city— Grey had a lot of walking to do…That is until he sees a supermarket not too far from his position. "Food."
