Collaborations with ESC
My students are working on conversations and story telling with students in the US and so far it's been fine. It looks like the conscientious students have made the most progress. No value judgement here--I mean the students who are communicating with one another and were quick out of the gate. What am I learning so far? Be specific. This is the usual concern, as the students really want as much direction as possible. It's an experiment for the two groups. We'll see how it works out. I've read through some of the TodaysMeet and email conversations and I have to say that based on these (about six) I'm quite pleased. The students are talking about the readings and politics more broadly speaking and that is a win. We'll see, though, how the students feel about this. And, usually this is in the seminar or on the evaluations!
