the thing about unus annus is that at the start, all their videos were silly and goofy, because we had all the time in the world! we have a whole year! right?
wrong.
there's a particular video from unus annus i keep remembering in light of limited life, the one they posted with just thirteen days remaining. basically it was mark and etho begging for more time, because they hadn't used their year how they wanted, they needed just a little more time! they weren't ready to go!
and then at the end of the video it was them reaching acceptance and just. the entire video was so messed up and in light of limited life i have to say i see so many similarities--the players not using their time wisely/taking it for granted, and the fandom overlooking the inevitability of what's coming. it also makes me think about the fact that eventually, whether they want to or not, every single player is going to have to come to terms with their time running out, or try to fight for more until they can't do that either.
i could go on and on about the similarities but just. yeah anon is so right. sorry for giving you this monster of an ask sldfjsljflk i just. yeah.
