Today's the 6th anniversary of Carol's Cannes premiere, which also marks Cate-Rooney's 6th wedding anniversary. 😌🤣❤😍💫✨

She did come that night.

I hadn't expected her to, I didn't want her to,

Yet she did.

She wasn't mine anymore,

But she stood in front,

And it made me kind of happy and sad at the same time.

The glimpses of yesteryears flashed through my mind,

Reminding me of those days we used to be in love.

It was bizarre, It was harsh,

Yet so perfect and alluring.

We met at the worst time possible,

I was busy chasing something I believed was more than love,

And wanted her to do the same.

I have what I wanted,

But a little part of me misses that girl,

Just the kind of girl I've always wanted.

And so her presence made me uncomfortable.

She didn't say anything, neither did I.

"Is this the last time we are face to face?"

Thousands of thoughts kept revolving in my mind,

When she stepped ahead and hugged me.

She still was the same girl I wanted,

And it couldn't have ended up in a happier way.

She was stupid enough to love me for so long,

I was stupid enough to love her for so long.
