Lian's turnaround complete! Looking good!

Heya, my first try designs for Team CLWD! Ahh, so I've been exploring ClipStudio a lot in the past couple weeks including their rulers. Symmetry ruler makes life a lot easier.

So left to right we have Caihong Kohaku, Lian Kohaku, Wūyún Shan and Jocasta Dione... maybe tweaked along the way.

I love constructive criticism... hit me!

And a WIP with an older version of their outfits and before their personalities got a revamp.

Caihong Turn Around

Slowly, slowly Caihong, leader of Team CLWD comes together!

Productive night! I finally finished Lian's weapon! Bam-Ba-Lam! (Hey Black Betty!) It's a Kanabo and Missile Launcher! It can use different dust munitions but Lian's wants FIRE!!! Let it burn!

And I managed to get his logo done at the same time. I think I may tweak the water to make it a little more subtle.

Lian is a play on the story of the koi who can make it up the waterfall will turn into a dragon.

Finally got around to sketching out Lian Tsuyagoi! The cheeky, careless brother of Caihong. I'll have to change his expression since his personality's been tweaked since I first started drawing.

His name means 'Waterfall' and is semblance is 'Hop' where he can absorb concussive attacks and turn them into momentum! He bounces around the battlefield swinging his humongous kanabo/missile launcher (coming soon)

Fractal Reflections

Caihong (Rainbow) Tsuyagoi (Lustrous Scaled Koi) is the bright, bubbly leader Team CLWD. This is her weapon, Fractal Reflections. It's a flute/glaive/fishing-rod weapon which goes hand in hand with her ability to influence emotions enhanced by her music and movements.

Much of her fighting is done hand to hand in a wing chun/aikido open hand style, dancing around and around her opponents.

She's based on the myth of the Peach Tree Monk. A noble turned monk vowed to he would not move from beneath a peach tree until he achieved enlightenment. His rich father did everything to break his meditation. He called the birds from the trees to sing and the koi in the pond to blow bubbles and dance. The monk became one with the peach tree, a sign of longevity, but still the birds sing and koi dance to attract his attention.

So working on my character references and stole the Velvet one. I turned them into blanks, free for use.
