On 10/5, Team Enceladus captured ourselves in front of a greenscreen with a Kinect using infrared. Yariv pretended to be Voldemort flicking his wand and doing Avada Kedavra. Jeremy and Raphael pretended to Kamehameha each other.
Here’s a comparison of the dock made in Maya 2017 and the imported FBX textured dock in Unreal. The dock in Unreal is stretched out to fit with the forest paths.
Essentially, we made some changes to the final look of the Unreal forest level we had in mind. Instead of a bridge, we made a dock that connects to either side of the forest. The forest is surrounded by cliffs and rock formations. There’s also a hidden surprise on the left side of the forest.
Here are some sketches for our first project in Unreal. Our idea is a forest path with a river flowing underneath a bridge. Initially, it was going to be a straight path with no bridge at first, but then we decided on a curved path with a bridge.
