Alluran’s favorite foods are honey pastries and dried fruits, he was raised in a desert-like country but the “we have cliffs everywhere and a volcano” type of desert rather than a hot sandy desert
Clothes in Eremeth are mostly made of fantasy animals’ wool, it’s a cold-ish country, you need layers but it rarely snows. They do have plant based weaving. Colorful dyes are very fashionable and kind of cheap, they are almost a side effect no one really thought about of the really huge commercial roads going through the whole continent. Alluran’s birth country has silk but it’s not exported at all. If you go further north, where his sisters come from, then leather and furs are more in fashion. Orcs are really good weavers and wool animals farmers, they have weird goat-like fantasy sheep the seize of our cows, which would be a bad idea in our world but hey, they’re orcs, they can handle a giant sheep

the elves from the south end of the continent do have glasses, they are masters of glass blowing, smith crafts, high quality potteries and basically everything related to having great temperature ovens and knowing how to use them properly. Glasses aren’t that common but the priests of Nersan appreciate them greatly and can be found wearing them even if they don’t need them bc they’re nerds. It’s a status thing, it means you need to read and write so much that you need these glasses to do your job
