Happy weekend my beautiful friends. I hope this post will make you smile. Let's have real talk about this epically staged photo shall we? 😂 . 1} I would never sit my Crosley on this wooden table because it's canvas. I always listen to my records sitting on my bed. . 2} I did actually listen to Lauryn Hill {one of my favorites EVER} since it was sitting there and I didn't realize how cathartic it is to snap photos WHILE listening to music. New peace found. . 3} I snatched both journal pages out of my notebooks for the purposes of this photo. The one below is the newest. . 4} I usually toast my waffles. The one in this photo is frozen though 😂 I put it right back because I wasn't hungry. . 5} I have no idea of the actual point of sitting a waffle on top of a coffee cup is but it looks so amazing in people's photos so I thought why not? My friend said the steam from the coffee gets into the waffle and gives it a slight coffee taste, but guess what? CiCi doesn't drink hot coffee...none of my coffee shots are ever hot like this one. All iced. Hot coffee does something to my tummy. Weird, I know. However, I can throw back multiple cups of hot chocolate which is really what you see most of the time. With nothing added, it's difficult to make the distinction between hot chocolate and coffee in photos I think. . 6} Found dollies....multiple sizes and shapes in one package at a dollar store. . 7} Social media trends are not my cup of tea except for the resurgence of plants. I love it. You literally have life around you so I bought a bunch of little ones like the one you see here. My mom used to have plants 🌱 everywhere but it wasn't so cool at the time lol. . 8} How am I this late posting my precious @bookofthemonthclub ❤️ Here are the books I chose this month 'The Leavers' by Lisa Ko, 'Since We Fell' by Denis Lehane & 'The Love Interest' by Cale Dietrich. .
