Stripped of her usual armor, Pyrrha felt vaguely underdressed. Which she hardly was, she was just wearing skinny jeans and a cropped blouse instead of leg armor and leather top. It was rare she got to wear some of her more casual clothes, so she hoped she didn’t draw too much attention as she walked through campus.
Pyrrha counted her lucky stars that the rest of her team was out when she slunk back to their dorms. Not having to face anyone while she was less than prim and proper—and certainly not from working out—was a relief, and allowed her to wash away any evidence in peace. And maybe rub one out after thinking about what happened again. She was absolutely helpless. It was only after her shower that she had a slightly awkward run in with a returning Ren (who she realized was gonna be even more awkward to refer to alongside Renatus) but luckily, he wasn’t nearly as nosy as his partner when he saw her nervously putting together an outfit and escaping back into the bathroom. He didn’t even consider it his business to ask where she was going, and Pyrrha never appreciated his reserved nature as much as just then. At the very least, she had the courtesy to blurt out ‘goingintotownbye!’ before darting out of the room.
Approaching one of the many statues around the front of the academy, Pyrrha deemed it the right place to wait. Just outside campus, like she said, and easy to spot. She checked her scroll—a little early, but not a problem unless he had the exact same thought and arrived even earlier… but that was overthinking it. Admittedly, she was a little nervous, even when Pyrrha logically knew she had very little chance of blowing this, especially with Renatus. So, she resisted the urge to be on the lookout and tried to just enjoy the calming autumn breeze.
