New Year's Resolutions: Hair Edition
Welp, here goes:
1) Be a bit less aggressive with my puffs
2) Do more protective styling, such as braids for a month maybe
3) Try not to think about my hair growth at all
4) Be more creative with my hair
5) moisturize more often
6) continue to wash only once a month...seems to be working out well
7) Do not give in to the Mozambican women here and wear my hair like they want me to. I am an individual and have the right to rock whatever styles I choose.

So, yesterday was my first day wearing my hair out at school. It went smoothly. One or two compliments. Today I wore it out again. My graduate-level stats professor announced it in class and I quote: "Wow, new hair!". LOL. Then later in the hallway she tells me how much she likes it and tells me about her curly hair when she was younger, etc. Yep, I think I will keep wearing my hair out. Pics to come soon.
