Johnson Secures Spot in Kia PBA Playoffs Semifinals
Congratulations to NDO athlete AJ Johnson for securing his spot in the Kia PBA Playoffs Semifinals. Johnson defeated fellow NDO athlete Shawn Maldonado 59-40 in a 9/10th frame roll-off after they split 1-1 in the two game match.
Johnson will face Hall of Famer Tommy Jones in his semifinal match.
Maldonado wins PBA Firelake Shawnee Southwest Region Open
NDO Athlete Shawn Maldonado took home the win at the PBA Firelake Shawnee Southwest Open in an absolutely dominating performance. Maldonado averaged 232.24 for the event and took home $6k.
Three other NDO athletes finished in the top 20...Mykel Holliman finished 6th, Anthony Simonsen finished 12th and AJ Chapman finished 20th.
