G.P feedback
Final Designs are good!
They brought up the fact that us having a range of tree to bipedal in terms of our furst designs was probs a good thing, to give them an idea on what each would look like
Apparrently my storybook design was done really well and i adhered to the new brief well while also making it look storybook-friendly - which is great! being subjected to looking at books all the time at cleanup and being forced to read to kids so many times over the years has payed off :D
Team Proj
We got some feedback
Specific to me the feedback i got:
4. Animation: We like the texture with the bark and the eyes. Just needs a body, or at least some limbs showing, and a less ridged posture
Team Proj
The full piece with everyones designs initially
Team Char Design
(Put quick sketches here)
For this illustration I went ahead and used Clip studio(portability for work+work at home) which I had a browse around for default brushes and ones posted by users.
I ended up using a lot of the default/in app brushes in the paint varieties and a couple grainy/textured store brushes
(refs here?)
Also fun thing is happening at times where after I go in and try to use my tablet buttons (undo and redo) or go to wacom to check bindings it'll say tablet not responding so I have to restart the computer so thats funnnn
Team Proj. Update!
As I got put with the kids storybook style, for research I went to look at some popular childrens books in my house (thank god mum does home based daycare???) Which are Hairy McLairy, Wonkey Donkey and Nee-Naw. These childrens books are drawn more traditionally and have a certain grain to them which I think i could emulate somehow. (I still have nightmares of kids repeatedly saying nee-naw /j)
Team project start
We're starting on the group project, and I've been given the task of illustrating in the kids storybook style
