First race in over 2 years - done! The last organised run I did was in October 2019, on my birthday, and I honestly got a little choked up as I crossed the start line today in this mass of people who were all there to run with me. My official finish time was 2:20:08 (moving time 2:17:14 - had to stop for a wee at mile 8!) which isn't the fastest, but I don't care. Is this where I wanted to be 5 weeks before the big day? Nope. But is it the best I could do seeing as I'm still battling off the longest cold I've ever had?
