Week 12: Teamwork in Action – Starting Our GUI Design

This week, our team started working on something exciting, the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for our research project. After taking a short break and finishing our oral recitation with Sir Earl, we were ready to bring our ideas to life and begin building what users will actually see and use.

We started by asking ourselves: What should our system look like? What features are most important for users? From there, we made a plan. Each of us had a role, some worked on the design (like buttons, menus, and layout), while others focused on the coding side to make things function properly. We met often to share ideas, fix issues, and help each other out.

By the end of the week, we had a working version of our interface, a big step forward! It was really satisfying to see our hard work turn into something real on the screen. We’re still improving it, but this was a great start.

15th Panchkula District Chess Championship 2025-26

🏆15th Panchkula District Chess Championship 2025-26 was organized for boys on May 2 and 3 at The Bharat School, Sector 12, Panchkula. 

Ompreet Gill of The Bharat School won a Bronze medal in Open category.

The boys team of The Bharat School won a silver medal in the Open category.

Ompreet Gill of XII, Harmanjot Singh and Aarnav Kalia of VIII, Ridev Chahal and Aarav Mahajan of VII were the participants of the winning team.

U-17 team of The Bharat School boys won a bronze medal. The participants were Rudhav Bajaj, Hitansh Dhar and Rehaan Jain of V and Siddhansh Sharma and Jaipreet Gill of VIII.

🎉School Principal, Ms.Geetika Sethi congratulated all the winners and said that these sports competitions improve social skills and the development of valuable life skills like teamwork, leadership and resilience in the children. They also contribute to academic performance and build self-confidence. 🌟👏
