The befores and afters of the new version of my maps. Couple of changes, due to some places no longer being no more than a ruin. Oh and I also changed the way the trees looked. Tea staining two #theworks boxes.. I had a choice of finishing.. #liquidgold or #wax Box got a waxing and heart got the liquid.. Finish on both is darker than I can make it look here.. A drawing of Woodhorn Colliery's mining wheel done in charcoal, Indian ink, emulsion and tea. This was done to embrace local heritage and further the idea of matter being removed from the ground for other things.
