Velvetina is a vampire, newly turned and trying to find her way in the ever changing fantasy world without losing her humanity. She doesn’t reveal her fangs to just anyone and largely plays the role of a human. She feels extremely guilty drinking from other sims and prefers synthetic plasma (blood) where she can get it. She is a good vampire. But has a bit of a hot-headed streak in her. She can get passionate about how she feels. She also brushes her hair at least 100 times a night to ensure she stays immortally beautiful, making her a little self-obsessed. She has all of time left to look forward to and is trying to find the right person to spend it with.

Orisia Nightwight - The Darkling Assassin for @teayo's Bachelorette Challenge

Orisia's people have long clung to the shadows, shunned as thieves, ne'er-do-wells, and, yes, even demons by all of society. It doesn't help that the MC meets her under the worst circumstances, stained with suspicion. But is Orisia seducing her for a dark purpose? Or is the darkling's heart true and faithful? Only as the story unfolds will the truth become known, as MC strides deeper into the shadowy web of lies that surround her...

Traits: Loves the Outdoors, Loner, Paranoid

Personality: Orisia is a killer, so there is a part of her that can make stone-cold calculations and it's true she is utterly capable of seduction to reach her goals; but whether or not that means she is using the MC is entirely up to the storyline. It would be easy to cast her as a villain and discard her, but Orisia is more multi-faceted then that. She wears the scorn thrown against darklings like an armour, striving to keep the world from crushing what spirit she still has. But Orisia's loyalty is unswerving. She never betrays an employer. She refuses to take contracts against her own kind. Orisia has issues with authority (as you can imagine). She despises societal norms unless they serve her.

Given her nature, Orisia might have some very hard truths to face. She has nerves of steel, but can she be strong enough to be vulnerable with the one person she needs to be?

Lizbeth sacrificed everything for power. At first it was an easy decision and one she never thought twice about but 200 years later she’s not so sure as she wanders the world alone peddling magic tricks for coin and a bite to eat. How did it get like this? Sometime she finds her self longing for love and the company of a family, but mainly she's grown tired and unimpressed with the world as it’s progressed. That is until she sets eyes on a mage that wields magic (dare she say) almost as impressively as herself. 𝙸𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚊 𝚖𝚊𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍𝚗'𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚍𝚒𝚎 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚊 𝚍𝚘𝚐.

The men that chance the churning seas fear the coming of The Red Tide. Captained by Sahar Soresh, this galleon is a thing to behold. Once a privateering vessel, it was... liberated from the naval forces to the East and commandeered by Captain Blackhand, an aging sea dog with gold on the brain and a superstitious nature. Soresh came aboard at a port one day, broad and strong, and after proving more than worth her salt against a few of his crew, Blackhand overcame his superstition to allow her aboard.

Perhaps he was right to fear her.

Within the year, Blackhand died. Tossed overboard by the winds, they said, during a night storm. Who could say if it was the wind that tossed him or hands that found he was the only thing in their way?

Soresh assumed his role. The crew was fond enough of her that, even if there was mounting suspicion, she proved a better captain than Blackhand could hope to be again in his advanced years. 

Over time, the crew began to change. More and more women were brought aboard, slowly but surely, from deck hands to Soresh’s own first mate, until eventually the crew was entirely female. Now, Captain Soresh commands the only all female pirate crew, and she’s damn proud of it. 

Personality:

Sahar is every bit a pirate’s pirate. Coming from hard labour back home in a farming village without much in the way of money or prospects, she’s pulled herself up by her bootstraps - quite literally a time or two - to get where she is now. And damned if she’ll give any of that up. Perhaps regarded as a touch heartless now and then, she does what she does to help other women like herself that didn’t get the same opportunities. The Tide travels to communities like hers, arms open to bring on poorer young women with a desire to travel and make heaps of money doing it. While she has a tidy fortune for herself, Sahar is most generous to less fortunate women, especially single moms and young girls, and gives freely and often, whether it be with gold or with opportunity.

She’s a loud, rough character. It’s easy to find Sahar at the pub - she’s the one with her boots up, a mug in her hand, a girl on her lap and a song or a story being shared. A softer, gentler woman might be accused of being a siren with a voice like that, but as it is, nobody’s ever suggested such a thing.

But who said a siren had to be demure?

She has a good heart, underneath it all. She can be cold and calculative when necessary, downright cruel when the times call for it. Sahar has no qualms making the tough calls and being the bad guy as needed, but ultimately she isn’t evil, nor does she enjoy being cruel. She’s generally well-liked in the port towns they visit(moreso by women than men) and loved dearly by her crew. Men know better than to veer too near to her path, and where once they laughed at a female captain, now they are right to fear her too.

“I’ve seen her lift a full keg of ale over her head once, swear.”

“She was born to an elf and an ogre, but she was too mean for either and they both kicked her out.”

“Seen her steer a ship in a storm better’n a calf to the udder, she can see in the dark like a cat and smell the weather.”

“She commandeered an enemy ship by herself because nobody thought she knew how to fight.”

“I’m pretty sure she’s a man-sucking demon, and that’s where all her crewmen went. Maybe lady blood doesn’t do the trick?”

“They say she was cursed by a sea witch the roam the ocean forever, but I’ve seen her at port before...”

At first I didn’t think about making a sim, because I assumed you’d have so many entries!! And I had NO idea what kind of sim to make.  But then I saw that you still eneded entries, and I was like, okay, I HAVE to make something.  So, here’s the result!  Some deatails about Ms. Valris under the cut!!

Details: - Elven Princess/Noble. - 26 years old. (equivalently) - She/her pronouns. - Pansexual.

Background: Daena is the daughter of a high-ranking elven noble, in the Summer Court.  Since her father is one of the Summer Court’s most important advisors, she spent her youth roaming the halls of the Summer Palace.  There, she befriended the Prince of the Summer Court.  They became fast friends, and were inseperable from an early age.  Now that they are both young adults, there is pressure for them both to find suitable matches.  The Prince’s time is now filled with balls, meeting suitable ladies from the other Courts, and among the nobles of the Summer Court.  Although Daena’s father has told her that marrying the Prince would bring honor on their family and further elevate their status, neither she nor the Prince have any interest in romance, at least not with eachother.   Attempting to escape the now-suffucating palace, full of foreign ladies and male suitors, Daena has taken to roaming the palace grounds and exploring the fields, forests, and meadows that surround the Summer Palace.  Though she’d be loath to admit it out loud, she secretly dreams of finding her true love on these adventures, someone who can distract her from the boredom of Court politics. Although the social politics of the Court may bore her, Daena has a strong mind for social issues, as well as the general welfare of citizens of the Court.  Her strong opinions on everything from poverty to novels, along with her willingness to speak her mind, have gotten her scolded by various memebers of the Court on numerous occasions.  She can only hope to someday find a partner who can keep up with her mind, and also provide entertaining discussion.

Tea, I hope you like her!!  Also, since I saw you wanted side characters, if you want me to send over/make the Prince, I can do that!!  <3
