As usual, Gemma's birthday was a day later. She's also now a teen!
Time for birthdays again!
Ash aged up into a teen. He will be the heir for generation 9 :)
Blossom and Dusty went to the park on a mini date. It ended up being cut short because Dusty had to go to work. Blossom stayed at the park a little while longer and played some chess before heading back home.
With his newfound freedom, Ash rode his bike to the slopes and spent the day snowboarding. Meanwhile, Gemma rode her bike around the house.
Blossom and Dusty got the children some bikes so they could learn to ride. Dusty was their little cheerleader lmao.
Blossom got electrocuted trying to repair things around the house, not once but twice, when I wasn't looking (that dang Chased By Death trait).
Dusty plead with Grim but was unsuccessful so she became a ghost.
Admittedly, I ended up cheating and reviving her because I didn't want to play as a ghost for the rest of the generation lol.
Blossom took the kids to the Festival of Youth like her parents did with her.
It wasn't super eventful, but the kids had fun and that's what matters :)
Back home from vacation, Blossom gets to work identifying and authenticating her artifacts. Gemma kept her company :)
On the last day of vacation, Blossom went out once more to try to find more goodies.
As she was digging for artifacts, she got a phone call that her mom, Pearl, passed away from old age. That put a bit of a damper on her day. Poor girl :( RIP Pearl.
One of the areas that was previously locked was open and Blossom was able to explore a new temple. She made her way to the end, almost dying from catching on fire in the process. She found more treasure and headed back to the rental.
Blossom decided to experiment with a relic she found. She used it on a random sim and he turned into a skeleton! It's considered a blessing, apparently.
She did this four more times to randoms for her aspiration.
The next day, everyone went to the museum to check it out. Afterwards, they went back to the main square for some food.
Blossom couldn't help but stop and grab more artifacts on the way.
Back at the rental, Blossom starts examining her finds. Ash was pretty curious and watched her for a bit. Meanwhile, Gemma played upstairs.
Blossom camped out overnight and woke up nice and early to resume her adventure.
She came across a new area that she hadn't seen before and grabbed some artifacts while she there. In the process, she maxed out her archaeology skill.
Afterwards, she came across two more gates that she was unable to pass through so she headed back to the lodging for now.
Blossom found some treasure in the wilderness and came across a temple. It's turns out that it was the same temple that she explored before, but everything reset including the treasure so it wasn't a waste of time.
After everyone was settled, Blossom took off to the jungle to continue exploring.
