About Terry
Before coming to the Gotham he finds himself in now, Terry grew up in a very different Gotham than he is in now; His Gotham had been a hell hole, filled with gangs. He had joined one gang, himself, The Bat Kids. Well known among the city police force he was in enough trouble to warrant his first time-served; at age fourteen he had been sent to Juvie hall for a few months. With his parents divorce and soon after his father’s murder, Terry lashed out- confronted the Jokerz gang himself. During this time he’d met with Damian Wayne; an older man by this time, old enough to need medication for a weakening heart. It’s here he learns the man had been one of the Bats. Batman himself; at least, the third.
Stealing the suit’s newest design he rips through to fight and take down his father’s murderers as well as discovering a scandal from the Powers family. Shortly after he began to don the Batsuit, Terry had fallen into smoking and drinking, Damian reprimanding him, even moving the ultimatum that the suit be retired until Terry would complete his sobriety training and muscle mass upped.
Terry didn’t stay, he completed half way through the program when he had stolen the suit, slipped into a facility and between Damian’s shocks and the fight, Terry lost consciousness. Waking in a new city, the buildings are old; far from his streets of filth, loud neon clubs and sprawling scrapers.
This is where he meets the first ever, the legend, the Bat Man himself, Bruce Wayne. The only home he recognizes. He slips into the building where he knows the batcave is, getting the med kit and patching himself up. Bruce leads him to find a great deal of many other heros he’s heard as legends in his time; including a, one and only, Roy Harper...
